No. Prefilled pods are sealed units and the coil inside is only designed to last for one fill cycle. Once the refill container runs dry, flavour and vapour drop off quickly; that is the signal to fit a fresh pod. If you want to fill pods yourself, a refillable pod kit is the better buy.

UK law caps any single vape tank at 2ml of e-liquid. Big-puff kits stay legal by pairing a 2ml pod with a separate reservoir that feeds it as you vape. That is how a device can advertise 25,000 puffs while still meeting TPD rules.

The usual culprits are overfilling past the max line, a worn coil letting juice seep through, or leaving the pod on its side in a warm pocket. Air pressure changes (flights, hot cars) also force e-liquid out through the airflow. Fill to just below the line, store pods upright, and swap the coil or pod if leaking continues after a clean.

The cotton was not saturated before firing. Fill a new pod, then leave it to stand for five minutes so the coil wicks fully; take a few short puffs before long draws. Once cotton scorches, the taste never recovers, so priming a fresh pod properly saves you the cost of another one.

For refillable pods, tip out any leftover juice, rinse the mouthpiece area with warm water, and dry thoroughly before refilling. Never submerge a pod with a built-in coil; moisture trapped in the cotton causes gurgling and spitback. Prefilled pods are sealed and cannot be cleaned, only replaced. Wipe the battery contacts on your device with a dry cotton bud once a week.

Keep sealed pods in their packaging, upright, away from direct sunlight and heat. Nicotine salt e-liquid slowly darkens with age; that is normal, but flavour is at its best within a few months, so buy pack sizes that match how fast you vape.

Yes. Carry pods and your device in hand luggage; vape batteries are banned from the hold on UK flights. Cabin pressure can push a little e-liquid out of filled pods, so seal them in a zip-lock bag and keep spares in their original packaging. Remember you cannot vape on board.

Used pods count as electrical waste when they contain a coil, so do not put them in household bins. Drop them at a vape shop recycling point, a supermarket electrical recycling bin, or your local council WEEE collection. Empty plastic refill containers can go in normal recycling where your council accepts the plastic type.

No. The ban that came into force on 1 June 2025 covers single-use disposable vapes only. Reusable pod systems with rechargeable batteries and replaceable pods remain fully legal, which is exactly why most disposable brands now sell pod versions of their popular devices.
