Why coil compatibility is confusing
Every vape kit takes a specific coil or pod series, and the names rarely make it obvious. A Smok kit might need TA, LP1 or RPM coils depending on the model, and packs from the same brand can look nearly identical on the shelf. This finder uses the compatibility data we maintain on every kit we sell, the same links you see under Compatible & Recommended Items on our product pages, so what it shows you is what actually fits.

How do I know which coil fits my vape?
Coils are made for specific devices, so the safest route is to match by device name rather than by looks. Use the finder above: search your kit or pick it from the brand photo grids and we show the exact coil or pod we have confirmed for it. If you are unsure of the model, the name is usually printed on the bottom or side of the device.
What happens if I use the wrong coil?
A wrong coil either will not fit at all or will not seal properly, which causes leaking, gurgling and a burnt taste. Coils from the same brand often look similar but are not interchangeable between series, so always check the series name, for example Smok TA, Vaporesso GTX or Voopoo PnP.
What do the ohms on a coil mean?
Ohms measure the coil's electrical resistance. Lower resistance coils below 1 ohm run hotter, make more vapour and suit direct to lung vaping with high VG juice. Higher resistance coils at 0.8 ohm and above give a tighter, cigarette style draw and work best with nic salts and 50/50 e-liquid. If in doubt, buy the same resistance as the coil you are replacing.
How often should I change my coil or pod?
Most vapers change coils every one to two weeks. Sweet e-liquids and heavy use shorten that, lighter use stretches it. Change it when you notice a burnt or muted taste, less vapour than usual, or leaking. Pre-filled pods are simply swapped when the e-liquid runs out.
