Why coil compatibility is confusing
Reusable kits can require a specific coil or pod family, and names rarely make that obvious. A Smok kit might need TA, LP1 or RPM coils depending on the model, while packs from the same brand can look nearly identical. This finder reads the compatibility data maintained on Vape Forest device records, the same curated relationships used under Compatible & Recommended Items on product pages. It does not infer a match from brand, shape or resistance alone.

How to check coil and pod compatibility
Compatibility is a chain of checks. The device, replacement family, part type and resistance must all agree. A matching brand, shape or ohm number by itself is not enough.
1. Identify the exact device
Use the model name printed on the device, packaging, manual or order record. A brand name or product shape is not specific enough.
2. Match the replacement family
Confirm the named pod or coil series. Products from one brand can use different connectors, seals and electrical ranges.
3. Identify the part type
Check whether you need a separate coil, an integrated-coil refillable pod or a sealed prefilled pod. These replacement routines are not interchangeable.
4. Choose a supported resistance
Compare only the options listed for that device and part family. Resistance affects operation, but it does not override compatibility.
5. Confirm the sealed pack
Before opening it, compare the device list, series name, resistance and any generation or regional note on the retail packaging.
First identify what is designed to be replaced
The word pod does not always describe the same maintenance system. This distinction tells you whether to buy a coil, a refillable pod or a sealed prefilled replacement.

Resistance is a second decision, not proof of fit
Once the device and replacement family match, compare only the resistances that the manufacturer supports for that combination. Lower or higher resistance can change power demand, warmth, vapour, liquid use and draw within a family, but the surrounding coil design and device control still matter.
If your current setup works well, the most conservative replacement is the same exact family and resistance. Changing resistance can be reasonable when the device supports it, but read the named power, liquid and draw guidance first.
What the finder confirms
The finder reads the curated compatible-product relationships maintained on Vape Forest device records, filters them to coils and replacement pods, and shows the resistance options found on those consumable products.
It currently covers 357 devices. 224 have an explicit replacement mapping in the catalogue. An empty result is not proof that no replacement exists, so use the contact route for an unlisted or older device.
Packaging, regional contents and manufacturer revisions can change. Confirm the sealed pack and device instructions before use, and never force a part that does not seat normally.
If a compatible part still does not work
Do not keep forcing or repeatedly firing it. Check the model, pack, pod seating, accessible dry contacts and the exact device warning. How do I know which coil fits my vape?
Coils are made for specific devices, so the safest route is to match by device name rather than by looks. Use the finder above: search your kit or pick it from the brand photo grids and we show the exact coil or pod we have confirmed for it. If you are unsure of the model, the name is usually printed on the bottom or side of the device.
What happens if I use the wrong coil?
An incompatible coil may not fit, may not be recognised, may sit or seal incorrectly, or may fall outside the device's supported resistance range. Do not force a similar-looking part into place. Match the exact device and replacement family, then confirm the resistance on the pack and in the device instructions.
What do the ohms on a coil mean?
Ohms measure electrical resistance, but the number alone does not prove compatibility or determine one fixed draw style. Within a supported coil or pod family, resistance can change the intended power, warmth, vapour, liquid use and draw. Check the manufacturer range for the exact part. Two coils with the same resistance can still belong to different systems and must not be interchanged.
How often should I change my coil or pod?
There is no universal replacement interval. Follow the manufacturer instructions and replace the correct user-serviceable part when it reaches its stated limit or develops persistent burnt taste, damaged seals, unresolved leaking, or a clear loss of normal output. A prefilled pod is replaced when finished, while an integrated-coil refillable pod is replaced as one complete pod.
Is a replacement pod the same as a replacement coil?
Not always. Some refillable pods contain a fixed coil, so the complete pod is replaced when the coil is worn. Other pods accept a separate push-fit or screw-in coil. Prefilled pods arrive sealed with liquid. Identify the part type before ordering because the same device brand can sell all three systems.
