On most OXVA kits five quick presses of the fire button switches the device on or off, and three quick presses toggles the button lock. Screen models such as the Xlim Pro also show a lock icon so you can see the state at a glance. Check the quick-start card for your exact model, as gestures vary slightly between generations.
One to two weeks is typical, stretching longer with lighter fruit flavours and shrinking with sweet, dark liquids. Swap the pod when flavour dulls or you get a burnt edge that a refill does not fix; pods are cheap enough that there is no point nursing a tired coil.
Work through the basics: charge it fully, reseat the pod, and check the button lock is off. A flashing light usually means an empty battery or a poor pod connection; wiping the pod contacts with a dry tissue fixes most connection grumbles. If it still misfires with a brand-new pod, contact us about a warranty check.
Match the number printed on the pod. A 0.8 ohm pod is happiest around 12 to 16 watts, and a 0.6 ohm pod around 18 to 22 watts. Fixed-output models such as the Xlim C handle this automatically, so there is nothing to set.
A 50/50 or nicotine salt e-liquid is the right thickness for Xlim pods. Salts at 10mg or 20mg suit the tight MTL draw perfectly; save thick shortfills for sub-ohm hardware.
