Battery and charging
A 900mAh battery sits inside the device and charges over a USB Type-C 5V/1A port. Though OXVA leaves the cable out of the box, so use one you already own. The circular display counts down the battery percentage, which makes it easy to see when a charge is due.
Eco and Boost modes swap with a single press of the button on the base. Eco mode trims the power to stretch the battery further. While Boost sends more power to the coil for a stronger flavour hit. Puff counts are approximate too, because a longer draw always uses more liquid than a short one.
Getting started
- Charge the device fully over USB-C before first use.
- Push the 2ml prefilled pod into the top of the device until it clicks.
- Connect the 10ml refill container beneath the pod so the two feed together.

A note on UK rules
The Tasteflex SL 12K recharges and takes replaceable prefilled parts instead of being thrown away after use. So the June 2025 disposables ban does not apply to it. It stays legal to buy and vape in the UK.
