Vaporesso Coil FAQ
Which coil fits my Vaporesso kit?
Check the base of your tank or the side of your current coil; the family name is printed on both. XROS kits take Corex pods rather than separate coils, Gen kits with the iTank take GTI, and the Target and Luxe GTX kits take GTX. Every pack listing here names its compatible tanks.
How long do Vaporesso coils last?
One to three weeks depending on liquid and power. Mesh families like GTI and GTX hold flavour longest. When taste turns papery or dull, the coil is done; there is no reviving scorched cotton.
How do I prime a new coil?
Drip a little e-liquid onto the visible cotton, fit the coil, fill the tank and wait five minutes before the first puff. On pod-style coils, the filled-pod wait alone does the job. Skipping this step burns the cotton on puff one and wastes the coil.
What wattage should I run my coil at?
Inside the range printed on the coil, and start at the bottom of it. Higher resistance (0.8 ohm and up) pairs with 50/50 and nic salt liquids at modest power; sub-ohm coils want high-VG juice and the wattage headroom of a mod.
Are cheap third-party Vaporesso coils worth it?
No. Clone coils are the most common cause of the leaking, gurgling and instant burnt hits people blame on their device. Genuine packs cost a pound or two more and behave the way the tank was engineered to; everything we sell is sourced through official UK distribution.
