The Gotek, Pixo and Zelos Ranges

Aspire’s pod kits fall into three groups. The Gotek range is the budget favourite: the Gotek X at £7.99 is a draw activated 650mAh pod kit that has become one of the most bought first kits in the store, the Gotek X3 and Gotek Nano add bigger batteries at 1200mAh and 1000mAh, and the Gotek Pro tops the family with 1500mAh and up to 17 watts.

The Pixo range is the pen style step up. The Pixo Aura at £11.99 gives 1300mAh and 5 to 30 watts, the Pixo runs 1100mAh at the same power, and the Pixo Max carries a 2600mAh cell with dual mesh pods. At the top sits the Zelos M80, a 2600mAh pod mod with 5 to 80 watts that runs mesh or bottom vertical coils for either MTL or full direct to lung vaping. The Cyber X and Loomix round out the middle at 1000mAh and 1500mAh.

Aspire Pods and Coils Explained

Aspire keeps pods within each family, so a Gotek pod fits every Gotek kit, a Pixo pod fits every Pixo kit, and the Zelos M80 has its own. That makes replacements easy to buy but means you should always check the family name before ordering. Gotek and Pixo pods are the sealed type with the mesh coil built in: when the flavour fades you replace the pod, refill and carry on.

The Zelos M80 is the exception. Its pod takes separate coil heads, so you keep the pod and swap only the coil, choosing a higher resistance for a tight draw with nic salts or a low resistance mesh for clouds with 70/30 shortfills. Whichever kit you own, fill a new pod, wait five minutes and take a few gentle puffs before vaping properly. That soak is what stops a fresh Aspire pod tasting burnt on day one.
