Voopoo Vape Kits guide
Explore the details and find answers to common questions.
GENE Chips and the PnP Platform
Two things define VooPoo hardware. The first is the GENE chipset, famous for near-instant firing and smart power curves. The second is the PnP platform: one press-fit coil system shared across most Drag and Argus devices, so a single box of PnP coils covers several kits and upgrading rarely means starting your spares from scratch.
The ranges split cleanly by intent: Argus for pocketable pod kits with rugged builds, Drag for power and clouds, Vinci for the middle ground.
Which VooPoo Line Fits You?
Swipe or scroll to compare columns
| Family | Character | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Argus | Tough, water-resistant pod kits from slim to high power | Argus Z (£13.95) or Argus XT (£45.99) |
| Drag | The flagship mod line: fast, powerful, cloud-focused | Drag H80S (£29.99) or Drag 4 (£59.99) |
| Drag Nano | The Drag experience shrunk to pocket size | Drag Nano 2 (£23.99) |
| Vinci | Versatile mid-power pod mods | Vinci 3 (£24.99) |
Check which PnP coil your kit ships with before ordering spares; the resistance printed on the coil tells you both the wattage range and the right e-liquid thickness.
VooPoo FAQ
Can I use nic salts in a VooPoo Drag?
Yes, with the right coil. Fit a PnP coil of 0.8 ohm or higher, keep the wattage in the range printed on the coil, and 10mg or 20mg nic salts work well. Avoid salts in the low sub-ohm coils; at high power they deliver far too much nicotine per puff to be pleasant.
How long do PnP coils last?
One to three weeks, like most modern mesh coils. Running high wattage with sweet liquids sits you at the short end. Prime every new coil with a few drops on the cotton and a five-minute soak in a filled pod before firing, and you will consistently reach the long end.
How do I reset or troubleshoot an Argus?
Five clicks turns the device off and on, which clears most glitches. If it will not fire, charge it fully, reseat the pod and check the coil is pushed home; a half-seated PnP coil is the most common cause of a no-fire or ohm error on Argus kits.
Drag or Argus: which should I buy?
Pick Argus if you want a pocket kit for daily nic salt vaping with battery life to spare. Pick Drag if you vape high-VG liquid and want warm, dense vapour with room to grow. The Drag Nano 2 splits the difference for anyone who wants the badge without the bulk.
