XLIM, NeXLIM or VPrime?
The XLIM family is the one most people mean when they say OXVA pods. It is slim, draw activated on the entry models and tuned for mouth to lung vaping with nic salts. The Xlim Go Lite is the cheapest way in at £7.99 with a 1000mAh battery and 5 to 30 watts. The Xlim C adds a bigger airflow range at 8 to 22 watts on 900mAh, while the Xlim Pro 2 and Xlim Pro 3 bring a screen and adjustable wattage on 1300mAh and 1500mAh batteries.
NeXLIM kits are the step up in power and battery. The Nexlim runs 5 to 40 watts on 1500mAh and the Nexlim 2 pushes the cell to 2000mAh, with dual mesh pods for a warmer, denser vape that still keeps an MTL draw available. The VPrime is different again: a 2600mAh pod mod at 14 to 60 watts that runs sub ohm pods for direct to lung clouds with 70/30 liquids.
Buying the Right OXVA Pods
OXVA pods are family specific, so the first thing to check is which family your kit belongs to. Every kit with Xlim in its name, from the Go Lite to the Xlim 3 Ultra and the Xlim Pro 2 DNA, uses the XLIM pod range, which comes in several resistances for tighter or looser draws. The Nexlim, Nexlim 2 and Nexlim 2 Mini use the larger NeXLIM pods with their dual mesh coils. The VPrime has its own pod and is not interchangeable with either.
Within a family, the resistance sets the draw. Higher resistance pods, around 0.8 ohm and above, suit nic salts and 50/50 liquid at the low end of the wattage range. Lower resistance pods open the draw and want more power. If you are unsure which resistance you have, the printed figure is on the base of the pod, and the Coil and Pod Finder shows every option for your model.

OXVA Pod Kits FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do all OXVA pods fit all OXVA kits?
No. XLIM pods fit the XLIM family, which includes every kit with Xlim in the name. NeXLIM pods fit the Nexlim, Nexlim 2 and Nexlim 2 Mini. The VPrime uses its own pod. Check the family before you order, or use the Coil and Pod Finder.
Are OXVA pods refillable or prefilled?
The XLIM, NeXLIM and VPrime pods are all refillable through a fill port and hold up to 2ml. OXVA also makes prefilled devices such as the Tasteflex SL 12K and the Slim Stick, which come loaded with 20mg nic salt and take their own prefilled pods.
Which OXVA kit is best for a beginner?
The Xlim Go Lite or the Xlim C. Both are draw activated, small enough to forget in a pocket and run nic salts well at low wattage. The Go Lite is the cheaper of the two at £7.99; the Xlim C has a wider airflow range if you think you will want a looser draw later.
What is the difference between XLIM and NeXLIM?
Size and power. XLIM kits are slim MTL devices up to 30 watts on batteries from 900mAh to 1500mAh. NeXLIM kits are a little larger, reach 40 watts and use dual mesh pods for a denser vape, with the Nexlim 2 carrying a 2000mAh cell.
