The Iced Series and How to Mix It

Guide to mixing a 100ml Twelve Monkeys Iced shortfill with two nic shots for a sub ohm kit

Every Twelve Monkeys bottle here is one of the Iced versions: the same tropical fruit recipes as the original range with a cooling menthol layer added, so Mangabeys, Matata, Tropika, Hakuna and Harambae all finish cold. They are 100ml high VG shortfills at £14.99, sold at 0mg. To add nicotine, top the bottle up with two 10ml nic shots, shake well and leave it ten minutes; that gives 120ml at roughly 3mg, the strength most sub ohm vapers run.

Because they are thick, high VG liquids, they belong in sub ohm kits and tanks with coils below 0.6 ohm and enough power to wick them. In a tight pod kit they will run dry and burn. If you are after the same fruit profiles in a pod friendly format, the 10ml and nic salt versions are not in stock at the moment, so the page shows the shortfills only.

Before You Order

Check your kit

High VG shortfill, so a sub ohm coil under 0.6 ohm and 40 watts or more. Not for pod kits or MTL tanks.

Add nic shots

Two 18mg shots make 120ml at about 3mg, one shot gives roughly 1.5mg. The bottle ships at 0mg, so mix before you fill.

Expect the ice

Every flavour currently stocked is the Iced edition. If you dislike menthol, this is not the range for you right now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The 100ml shortfills on this page are high VG blends made for sub ohm vaping. They need a low resistance coil and a kit with real power, and they are not suited to mouth to lung pod kits.

Two 18mg shots take it to 120ml at roughly 3mg. Add one shot for about 1.5mg. Shake thoroughly and let the bottle stand for ten minutes before filling a tank.

Not at the moment. The five flavours currently available, Hakuna, Harambae, Mangabeys, Matata and Tropika, are all the Iced editions with a cooling finish.
