Meet the Vaporesso Luxe X2 Pod Kit, a refillable pod vape made for new and seasoned users alike. It carries a large 2000mAh built-in battery, so most vapers get over a day of use per charge. On top of that, it outputs up to 40W and covers both MTL and RDTL draws.

Two pods come included, ready to fill and vape. The 0.8 Ohm pod suits a tighter mouth to lung inhale. Meanwhile, the 0.6 Ohm pod leans towards a restricted direct to lung vape. Both fill from the base and pair best with 50 percent VG e-liquid. A USB-C cable is also in the box.

Who is the Luxe X2 for?

Choose it if you want a refillable pod kit that keeps going. The big 2000mAh battery also keeps running costs low, because you refill pods instead of buying disposables. Anyone stepping up from a disposable will find the inhale activated draw familiar too.

Smart Mode means beginners can simply fill, charge and vape. Meanwhile, keener vapers can adjust the airflow to fine tune each draw. That covers a tight mouth to lung pull as well as a looser restricted style. However, if you want big sub ohm clouds, a dedicated sub ohm pod kit will serve you better.

A Pocket Kit with a Premium Feel

The Luxe X2 pairs a stitched, textured side panel with a metallic frame. As a result, it feels more refined than most starter pods, yet it still slips easily into a pocket. A translucent lower section also lets you glimpse the build inside.

At just 84 grams, it stays light in the hand. It also comes in eight finishes, so there is a look for most tastes:

• White Silver and Ruby White for a clean, classic feel
• Avocado Green for a soft, fresh tone
• Light Pink for a gentle pop of colour
• Night Black, Navy Blue, Light Purple and Wasp Yellow round out the range

Power That Lasts the Day

The built-in 2000mAh battery is more than twice the size of many pod batteries. Because of that, most vapers get over a full day between charges. When it does run low, the supplied USB-C cable tops it back up.

A single button runs the whole kit, so you press to fire or simply inhale. Smart Mode then reads your fitted pod and sets a suitable power level on its own. In short, there are no menus to learn.

Pods and Flavour

Both included pods hold 2ml and fill from the base. Removing the rubber stopper therefore gives you quick access to the fill port. The built-in mesh coils also heat e-liquid faster, so each pod delivers stronger flavour.

The 0.8 ohm pod gives a discreet mouth to lung vape. The 0.6 ohm pod instead makes a little more vapour for a restricted draw. Each pairs best with 50 percent VG e-liquid, such as a nic salt. The kit also runs the wider Luxe X pod and GTX coil range, shown in the table below.

When a pod is done, replacement Luxe X and XR pods drop straight in.

Set Your Own Draw

A side airflow switch lets you tune every inhale. Close it down for a tight mouth to lung feel, or open it up for an airier restricted draw. Combined with the two pods, one small kit therefore covers both styles.

Because the airflow moves smoothly, you can dial in the exact draw you like. First set a tighter pull for high nicotine salts, then open it out later as you prefer.
