Use the liquid specification recommended for the exact pod or coil. VG/PG ratio, coil design and power setting matter as well as nicotine concentration; a resistance number alone is not a compatibility rule. Sealed prefilled pods should not be opened to add bottled liquid.

Is 18mg the maximum permitted UK concentration?
No. The UK limit for nicotine-containing e-liquid supplied for vaping is 20mg/ml. An 18mg label is below that limit; it is not a separate legal maximum for freebase liquid.
Does 18mg describe the amount in the whole bottle?
No. It normally means 18mg of nicotine per millilitre. Check the label for mg/ml and the bottle volume; concentration and total quantity are different measurements.
Can a category tell me which strength I need?
