Check the exact range and formulation
Different ranges from the same brand need not offer the same strengths. A 16mg label also does not tell you whether the liquid uses freebase nicotine or nicotine salts. Read the individual specification rather than relying on a brand-wide assumption or a suggested smoking-equivalence chart.
Check the liquid and the device
Use the liquid specification recommended for the exact pod or coil. VG/PG ratio, coil design and power setting matter as well as nicotine concentration; a resistance number alone is not a compatibility rule. Sealed prefilled pods should not be opened to add bottled liquid.

Does 16mg identify a particular nicotine type?
No. It identifies concentration. Check the bottle and product specification for the nicotine formulation and VG/PG ratio instead of inferring these from the strength number.
Does 16mg describe the amount in the whole bottle?
No. It normally means 16mg of nicotine per millilitre. Check the label for mg/ml and the bottle volume; concentration and total quantity are different measurements.
Can a category tell me which strength I need?
No. A strength category cannot assess individual nicotine needs or prescribe a reduction schedule. If you need support to stop smoking or change nicotine use, a pharmacist or stop-smoking service can provide individual advice.
