iTank and iTank M use different coils
The iTank and iTank 2 are sub-ohm tanks using the Vaporesso GTi coil family for direct-to-lung vaping. The MTL iTank M uses MTX coils for a more restricted draw. The similar names do not mean these coil families are interchangeable.
Use the exact tank name when choosing Vaporesso replacement coils. Check the selected coil’s resistance, wattage and liquid recommendation before pairing the tank with your mod.
Choosing an alternative tank
If a Vaporesso model is out of stock, compare the adjustable airflow tank range. Check the connector, diameter, supported power and replacement-coil availability. An alternative tank may use a different coil family, so existing spare coils may not fit it.
