Pods and coils
Each Xros pod has its coil sealed inside, so the only upkeep is a pod change: when the flavour dulls or a burnt note appears, drop in a fresh pod. The two supplied pods are 0.4 ohm mesh versions, filled from the top through a port under the mouthpiece with the pod still seated. This 0.4 ohm resistance is made for the Xros Pro and the Xros 4 line, and the kit also accepts the wider Xros replacement pods from 0.4 up to 1.2 ohm, so a higher-resistance pod gives a tighter, more cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw. Run 50/50 or higher-PG e-liquid, including nicotine salt, and the 0.4 ohm pod handles thicker high-VG bottles too.
Battery and charging
The built-in 1200mAh battery is sized to carry a day of steady vaping, and it charges over USB Type-C at 2A, filling in about 35 minutes from flat. Smart mode reads the fitted pod and sets the wattage on its own; for more say over the vape, the 0.4 ohm pod can be adjusted by hand, and Eco, Normal and Power modes trade battery life for a warmer, stronger hit. Adjustable airflow sits alongside, so the draw is yours to set.
How to set up
- Charge the Xros Pro fully over USB Type-C before the first vape.
- Peel the film from a pod, then lift the mouthpiece and add e-liquid through the top port, up to 2ml.
- Refit the mouthpiece and give the coil ten minutes or so to saturate before the first draw.
- Press the button five times to switch the device on, then draw or press to vape.
- Click the button three times to adjust the 0.4 ohm pod's power, or switch modes for other pods, and recharge once the battery runs low.
