Can I use a Temptations shortfill in a pod kit?
Not comfortably. The shortfills are blended high VG for sub ohm coils, so a 1.0 ohm pod coil struggles to wick them and you will get dry hits. For a pod kit, buy the 10ml nic salt version of the same flavour, which is mixed for exactly that job.
Which strength are the Temptations nic salts?
10mg and 20mg. There is no 5mg in this line, so if you want a low strength dessert the route is a shortfill with a single nic shot, which lands around 1.5mg, or two shots for about 3mg. Both need a sub ohm kit to wick properly.
Why does my coil not last as long with dessert liquids?
Sweeteners caramelise on the coil, and desserts carry more of them than fruit or menthol. Expect a pod or coil to last a few days less than it would on a plain fruit. Priming properly and not chain vaping helps, but some extra coil cost is part of the deal with any custard or cake flavour.
