Battery and charging
The built-in 600mAh battery recharges over USB Type-C, so a topped-up cell lasts most vapers through a good chunk of the day before it needs a charge. Any standard USB-C cable does the job. Because the battery is rechargeable, you draw the full 20ml through the kit rather than throwing away a part-used device, which is the point of the open-tank format.
Getting started
- Pull the protector off the base of the device and set it aside.
- Unscrew the lid from a 10ml bottle.
- Line the bottle up with the device and twist it in until it seats.
- Refit the protector you removed in the first step.
- Turn the child lock lever to 90 degrees and lift it to unlock.
- Let the liquid feed into the tank, reset the child lock, then draw on the mouthpiece.

A note on UK rules
Because the Tornado 18K recharges over USB Type-C and takes replaceable 10ml bottles, it falls outside the June 2025 UK ban on single-use vapes.
