Vaporesso XROS 3 Nano Pod Kit Review: Tiny Kit, Big Flavour?
The pocket-sized entry point to the XROS family
The XROS range is the reason a lot of people stopped buying disposables, and the XROS 3 Nano is the smallest, friendliest way into it. I have had one in my pocket on and off since it launched, and it still earns its place: a 1000mAh battery in a squat little shell, honest mouth-to-lung flavour from the XROS mesh pods, and nothing to learn. No buttons, no menus, just draw and go.
In this review I cover what the Nano gets right, where it shows its age, how it compares with the standard XROS 3 and the XROS 3 Mini, and which pods to buy for it. If you are weighing it up against newer kits, the verdict at the end tells you exactly who should still buy one in 2026.
Ratings
Solid aluminium feel with a leather-look grip panel; the glossy trim can pick up light marks over time.
1000mAh comfortably sees a moderate vaper through the day, and 2A USB-C tops it up in around 45 minutes.
XROS Series mesh pods remain some of the best MTL pods around: crisp, consistent and true to the juice.
Auto-draw only, colour-coded LED and a simple airflow slider. There is nothing to get wrong.

Specifications
Who the XROS 3 Nano suits best

The Nano is built for two groups. First, anyone stepping away from disposables who wants the same grab-and-go simplicity with far better flavour and running costs: fill a pod with 50/50 nic salt, draw, done. Second, existing vapers who want the smallest possible XROS as a pocket or backup device without giving up battery capacity.
It is not the kit for cloud chasers or anyone who wants adjustable power and sub-ohm airflow. The Nano is a mouth-to-lung device through and through, and it is honest about it.

Which pods fit the XROS 3 Nano?
Short answer to a question we hear constantly: yes, XROS pods are cross-compatible. Every pod in the XROS Series fits the XROS 3 Nano, from the original mesh pods through to the newer COREX generations, so you can upgrade the flavour tech without changing device. The 0.6Ω pod gives the warmest, fullest draw, 0.8Ω is the all-day balance of flavour and juice economy, and 1.2Ω stretches battery and e-liquid furthest with the tightest draw.
Maintenance & Care

Keep the Contacts Clean
Pop the pod out once a week and wipe the base and battery contacts with a dry tissue. Condensation build-up is the usual cause of weak hits and auto-draw misfires.

Pod Swaps and Priming
Swap the pod when flavour dulls or turns toasty, usually every one to two weeks. Always let a fresh pod stand for five minutes after filling before the first draw.

Battery Care
Use a 2A USB-C adaptor for the fastest top-up and try not to leave the battery flat for days at a time. The LED shows green, blue then red as the charge runs down.
Expert Opinions

Jamie Ellis
•Senior Vape Tester — Vape Forest UK
Rates the Nano as the most pocketable proper pod kit in the range. The squat shape splits opinion next to the pen-style XROS 3, but the grip panel and 2A charging win him over for daily carry.
Pros
- Grippy, genuinely tiny, charges fast.
- Same class-leading XROS pod flavour.
Cons
- Glossy trim marks easily.

Tom Rivers
•Technical Vape Analyst — Vape Forest UK
Points out the Nano quietly outspecs its siblings on charging: 2A against 1A on both the XROS 3 and the Mini. With the same 1000mAh cell in a smaller footprint, it is the practical pick of the three.
Pros
- 2A charging is unique in the XROS 3 trio.
- Battery life belies the tiny size.
Cons
- Fixed output, no wattage control.

Saatch Shahrokh
•Vape Reviewer & Content Editor — Vape Forest UK
Recommends it as the default answer for disposable switchers: auto-draw, two pods in the box and a filling port you cannot really get wrong. Suggests the 0.8Ω pod with 10mg nic salt as the starting combo.
Pros
- Two pods included, ready for day one.
Cons
- 2ml capacity needs topping up on heavy days.
Our Verdict
Nearly three years on from launch, the XROS 3 Nano still does the fundamentals better than most kits twice its price: real flavour, a full day of battery, quick charging and zero learning curve. Newer XROS models add screens and bigger cells, but if what you want is the smallest dependable MTL kit on the shelf, this remains an easy recommendation.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Vaporesso uses one shared pod platform across the whole family, so XROS Series pods (including the newer COREX versions) fit the XROS 3 Nano, XROS 3, XROS 3 Mini and the rest of the range interchangeably.
The usual causes are overfilling past the 80% mark, a rubber bung not pressed fully home, or thin 70/30 juice in a low-resistance pod. Fill to 80%, seat the bung firmly, store the kit upright and stick to 50/50 e-liquid and leaks all but disappear.
There is nothing to turn on. The Nano has no fire button and is fully draw-activated: click a filled pod in and inhale on the mouthpiece. If nothing happens, charge it and check the pod is seated properly.
Pull the pod out of the device, lift the orange rubber bung on the side of the pod, fill to about 80% and press the bung back down. Wait five minutes before the first draw on a brand new pod.
Typically one to two weeks per pod depending on how much you vape and how sweet your e-liquid is. Change the pod when flavour fades or you get a dry, toasty note on the inhale.
Roughly 45 minutes from flat with a 2A USB-C adaptor, which is quicker than both the standard XROS 3 and the XROS 3 Mini (both charge at 1A).
The LED cycles while charging and settles when the battery is full. In use it shows green when the charge is high, blue in the middle band and red when it is time to plug in.
