The Aegis Mini 2, also known as the M100, is GeekVape doing what GeekVape is famous for: a compact mod built like site equipment. A 2500mAh internal battery pushes up to 100W, the 1.08 inch OLED keeps everything visible, and the Z Nano 2 tank on top runs the B Series coils with leak-proof top-to-bottom airflow.

This is the one kit in our review series for vapers who want real power and clouds rather than grab-and-go simplicity. Here is how it holds up as a daily workhorse.

Classic Aegis ruggedness: this is the kit you stop babying. Ten colourways, all built to be dropped.

2500mAh handles a full day at moderate wattage, and 2A Type-C charging (behind a flip cover) refills it quickly.

flavor4.5

The Z Nano 2 tank with B Series coils (0.2Ω and 0.6Ω) delivers dense, flavourful sub-ohm clouds.

ease of use4.2

More to learn than a pod kit: wattage, coils and refills. The OLED makes it painless once set up.

Who the Aegis Mini 2 suits best

Who the Aegis Mini 2 suits best

Vapers who have outgrown pod kits and want proper power, clouds and control without carrying a brick. It especially suits anyone hard on their gear: trades, outdoors, festivals. The Aegis build means one less thing to worry about.

It is not for disposable switchers wanting simplicity: you will be buying e-liquid, priming coils and setting wattage. If that sounds like a hobby rather than a chore, this is your kit.

Maintenance & Care

Prime Every Coil

Prime Every Coil

Drip e-liquid onto a fresh B Series coil and let the filled tank stand five minutes before firing. Burnt cotton is the one mistake you cannot undo.

No setting icon

Match Watts to Coil

Stay inside the wattage range printed on the coil: the 0.2Ω loves higher power, the 0.6Ω prefers a gentler touch and sips less liquid.

Charging

Keep the Port Covered

The flip cover over the Type-C port is part of the weatherproofing. Close it after charging, especially outdoors.

Our Verdict

Recommended

The Aegis Mini 2 is the easiest recommendation in its class for a first proper mod: tough enough to survive the learning curve, powerful enough that you will not outgrow it quickly, and refined where it counts with the OLED, fast charging and a genuinely leak-proof tank. £54.99 well spent for anyone ready to move past pods.

Frequently Asked Questions

The included Z Nano 2 tank runs GeekVape B Series coils. The kit ships with a 0.2Ω and a 0.6Ω mesh coil: the 0.2Ω for maximum clouds at higher wattage, the 0.6Ω for a more restrained, liquid-efficient vape.

Higher-VG e-liquids (60/40 or 70/30) suit its sub-ohm coils and power. Save 50/50 nic salts for pod kits: at these wattages they will be harsh.

The 2500mAh internal cell manages a full day at moderate wattage. Push 80 to 100W all day and you will want the 2A fast charger at lunchtime.

The Aegis line is built to shrug off rain, dust and drops in normal use, with the Type-C port protected by a flip cover. Treat it as rugged rather than submersible.
